After more than 15 years of challenges, visually impaired students in Cape Coast can now navigate their journey to education with ease. The ANOPA Project, in collaboration with the RYTHM Foundation, has commissioned a newly constructed pathway linking the Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind to the Ghana National Basic Inclusive School.

The long-awaited infrastructure upgrade was inaugurated in a ceremony graced by key stakeholders, including Metro Director of Education, Madam Phylis Asante-Krobea; Executive Director of ANOPA Project, Mr. Ernest Appiah; RYTHM Foundation representative, Ms. Pobana Harusan; and GNBIS Headmistress, Madam Susana Marian Holdbrook. Also present were officials from the Ghana Education Service and school staff.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ernest Appiah reaffirmed the ANOPA Project and RYTHM Foundation’s dedication to fostering quality inclusive education. He highlighted their continuous efforts in sports-driven development, vocational training, teacher professional programs, and infrastructure improvements.

This new pathway symbolizes more than just accessibility—it represents a future where education is truly inclusive for all.
